Cheryl Uhrig

Cheryl’s philosophy is ‘Winning the lottery, great. Love of a Golden, priceless’. Wow ~ what a great saying! Cheryl is a long-term volunteer with Golden Rescue. She started volunteering after she adopted Roxy #936 and many years Fennie #2202. She has done a multitude of home visits and has volunteered at many events including The Pickering Markets and St. Jacobs Market. Her most memorable role is as our resident GR cartoonist. You have seen her work everywhere from her regular feature cartoons in the Guardian to cartoons in Golden Reflections, the cookbook, our coffee mugs, and the adoption and foster guides. Cheryl is talented and warm-hearted with a great sense of humour. How lucky are we?
