Carole had been following Golden Rescue on social media for about six years when her beloved Jackson crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She thought volunteering would be a good way to fill the void. So, Carole and her husband, Kelly, joined the transport team and their first transport was Charlie #4449 who they drove from London to Toronto. Two weeks later, Charlie found his forever family with Carole and Kelly. That’s serendipity at its best. Carole and Kelly wanted a second Golden and have since adopted sweet Milo #4534. Both boys wiggled their way into their hearts instantly. Since then, Carole has been involved with home visits, events, and fostering. Carole joined the placement team and she is a natural…so much so that she now trains new members on the placement team. Carole loves working with Golden Rescue and it shows in everything she does. We are so fortunate to have Carole in our corner. She is a pleasure to work with and her sunny can-do attitude is infectious. Charlie and Milo are lucky and so are we
